The Dovre 280 gas stove combined traditional cast iron construction with the latest gas fire technology. Supplied with a log effect fuel bed, it provides ultimate realism and a genuine alternative to a real, wood burning stove. Whether you inset the stove on its own into an inglenook setting or combine within a fireplace surround, it will provide both warmth and ambience to any interior.

Supplied with manual controls concealed at the base of the appliance, you also have the option of upgrading to one of Dovre's exclusive remote control systems. The standard remote control allows adjustment of the flame height and heat output once the pilot light has been lit, the programmable remote control has the two additional features of thermostatic control of room temperature and a programme function allowing your fire to switch itself on and off twice a day. No electricity supplied needed for any of the control options.

Striking matt black cast iron with a maximum heat output of 3.4kW make the Dovre 280 gas stove ideally suited to average room sizes. Top or rear 5" flue exit (interchangeable) allow for a variety of installation types. Models available for either natural gas or LPG properties. The stove features a automatic safety shutdown in the event of pilot light failure or flue blockage.
